IT'S SUMMER TIME IN THE ORCHARD! Finally, after the cold and snow of last winter and a wet, cool spring, we are beginning to enjoy the start of summer here at the orchard. The tree pruning was finished in March and the bees were out in early May doing their job to pollinate the apples. We now have marble size apples on the trees. Soon the pumpkins will be planted and we will start the summer long job of making sure that everything is ready when we open at the end of August. Please check back in mid-August for our exact opening date. Until then, Have a great summer! ******************************************************************************************************************************* Honey Hill Orchards are family-owned and operated orchards, that were started as a hobby in 1965. Today, the original orchard location has 2,100 apple trees, with an additional 500 trees at a second farm location. What started out as a simple farm stand has grown to include pick your own apples, raspberries and pumpkins, a bakery, the Apple Barn Country Store and family activities. Through the years, one thing has remained constant, and that is our commitment to our customers. In addition to providing our customers with quality products, we give families a chance to spend time on the farm and create some great family memories and traditions. We hope you’ll take some time to sit back and browse through our site. We’re sure you’ll find something that interests you. Better yet, why not bring the family out for a beautiful day in the country. Please visit Hours & Activities for exact dates. We look forward to seeing you. The Folks at Honey Hill Orchard |
