NIELSEN BELGIANS - We want to thank Phil for bringing out his Belgian horses again this year. Despite the often rainy weekend weather, many people were able to enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride. Looking for some new ideas for your next party or special event? Why not consider having Phil bring his horses out for your company party, family reunion, caroling party, you name it? What a great way to add some old fashioned fun. Give Phil a call at 815-264-3948. CATTLEMEN'S ASSOCIATION STEAK FRY Members of the DeKalb County Cattlemen's Association were here on October 4th cooking up some of their famous steak sandwiches. Year after year we receive many comments on how great the sandwiches are and how much people enjoy the Cattlemen coming out. Our thanks to the Cattlemen for coming out to spend some time at the orchard. WATERMAN LIONS CLUB PORK CHOP SANDWICHES The Waterman Lions Club was here on October 11 cooking up their delicious butterfly pork chop sandwiches. Despite the slightly chilly temperatures, they had a great turn out and served a lot of sandwiches. Proceeds from their barbeque will be used to help fight blindness and diabetes worldwide. Your support is greatly appreciated. PUMPKIN HARVEST WEEKEND Despite the cool weather, we had a great time celebrating Pumpkin Harvest Weekend. A lot of happy customers found that perfect Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin. Plus, three lucky winners were chosen to win a giant pumpkin. They'll have their work cut out for them once they start carving!
